Power Washing & Painting in Garden City

Garden City sits at the quiet end of the Strand — older beach homes, fishing cottages, and inlet properties that take a beating from the weather.

Garden City is tucked between Surfside and Murrells Inlet. Older beach homes, fishing cottages near the creek, neighborhoods where people have been for a long time. The houses out here have character — and most of them need paint or a good washing more often than they get it.

Wood siding is common out here, and it takes more care. You have to wash it right, let it dry, scrape what’s loose, caulk the gaps, and then paint. Cut a corner on any of that and the paint won’t last two seasons. We don’t cut corners, and we’ll tell you upfront if the prep is going to take extra time.

Some of the properties are right on the creek or along the beach access roads. Tight spots, sometimes odd access. We’ve been there before. It doesn’t slow us down.

Frequently Asked Questions

My house has wood siding and needs painting. How do you handle that?

Wash it first, let it dry all the way, scrape the loose paint, caulk the gaps around the trim and windows, prime the bare spots, then paint. Takes longer than slapping paint on top of bad paint, but it actually holds.

The property is on the creek. Is that a problem for access?

Not for us. We have worked at properties along the creek and on the beach side plenty of times. We bring what we need.

What do I need to do before you come out?

Move fragile things away from the outside of the house u2014 plants, chairs, anything close to the siding. That is about it.
